Teenage Good Luck Card

A quick and simple card using one of my favourite stamps
- Rubbaddubadoo Denim Pocket. Suitable for older teenagers
and young men. Ready for exam time or alter the sentiment
as you wish.
You will need:
Rubbadubbadoo Denim Pocket (AA14D) £8.49
Stampendous Detail Embossing Powder - Black (DP111) £3.10
Versamark Watermark Pad (WA101) £4.70
Heat it up! Heat tool (HTL2000) £14.99 (RRP £19.99)
Papermania Coloured Stickers - Sentiments Blue & Lilac
(PMA6344) 99p
Anita's 5 Lavender blank tall cards & envelopes (CRD23804)
£2.49
Double Sided Tape fingerlift & easytear (2735) £1.75
1 mm mounting pads (S57049) 83p
Scrap piece of silver/dark blue card
1) Using the Versamark Inkpad stamp an image
of the denim pocket about 5mm from the edge of the top left
corner. Any clear or tinted embossing pad will do, but I
like the Versamark as it allows you to see the stamped image
without altering the embossed imaged. It is also gives a
lovely watermark effect on coloured paper if left to dry
- great for backgrounds.
2) Sprinkle Stampendous Black Detail Embossing
Powder over the image, tap off the excess and return to
the pot. Gentle heat with a Heat it Up! Heat Tool to give
a really fine embossed image.
3) Cut a piece of lavender card 1.5x5cm. The
Anita's Card Packs come with matching card stock so are
ideal for this. On this centrally position the sticker sentiment
of your choice. I chose ' Good Luck'.
4) Cut a piece of silver or dark blue card
2x5.5cm. Using two 1mm mounting pads position the lavender
card centrally on this darker card.
5) Finally, using double-sided tape fix the
sentiment about 5mm from the bottom right edge of the card.
Stampendous Detail Embossing Powders are ultra fine so
work beautifully with very detailed stamps like this one.
Available in clear, white, silver, gold, copper & black.
1oz Jars cost £3.10 each.
